Please pray for Homer Joy's health
Please pray for Homer Joy, a dear friend of mine who wrote Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam's big hit, STREETS OF BAKERSFIELD. He also wrote recorded many other great songs, including another big hit that he recorded with Buck Owens called "John Law." Several year ago, Homer received a heart transplant and he was doing very well for quite some time after that. Homer's new heart was severely damaged. He will be undergoing tests at UCLA shortly to learn if he is a good candidate for a second heart
transplant.
My prayers have already been made. UCLA is a great place for your friend to be. It's #3 in The Nation.
