My Guitar is my Stick (My Pick is My Puck) Dr BLT's Random Jukebox

I learn something new everyday.  Today I learned that in order to play hockey, I had to first play hooky.  Here's the only hockey song I ever wrote.  I'd like to thank Jerry Rothberg, who played both keyboard, and perhaps even drums on this one (Pat, forgive me, it may be you on the drums, correct me if I'm wrong).  I'd also like to thank Reggie who did the bass, and Walter Stormont for playing the sportscaster, and the percussion.

Here it is, ladies and gentlemen, today's random selection from the Dr BLT Jukebox:

The "Put Me in Coach" song for Hockey (Hokey?) guitar players has been pulled from the Dr. BLT vaults for your enjoyment. It could be Pat, Jerry's Daddy, on the drums, or it could be Jerry the Saxman, who incidently also played clarinet on this tune. In any event, we got more bluesy than Creedence, but they still have the market cornered on sports tunes.
Back to the review...That's a great picture of BLT in his true Canadian gear. I thinks he wears that helmet as good as his cowboy hat. He's a singin' prarie boy, hockey playin, guitar strummer...and he ain't a bummer!
And let's not forget Walter's super play-by-play interlude.
I think it's time for a Rolling Scones reunion!
It's what life is all about...musical experimentation, Reggie's Studio, and a bunch of lifelong friends having fun!
    Great Lyrics, music, and vocals!
Like Bobby Orr, We're gonna score!

Wow, that brought be back to simpler times (well, somewhat)... once again, I marvelled with a grin at your clever lyrics, Bruce... "We're not the Doors... We're not the Condors." Super stuff. We all had fun putting that one together. Thanks for the few minutes of cooling off in the memory box.

Hey Walter! Don't cool off too much! It looks like a Rolling Scones reunion is on the horizon.
