Fill 'er up with regular (water, that is), yes, we supposedly in the midst of a California drought, but water is still a lot less expensive than gas, and considerably less expensive than buying a real cement pond.  Once you get past the embarrassment of being called a redneck by a few highfalutin city folk, sitting in your very own pick-up/pool is a great way to beat the heat.
