Mechanical rights granted: Dr BLT and Penny Marie's country "Billie Jean" set for 8/10/09 release

It's a done deal.  The mechanical rights have been officially granted.   There may be few finishing touches like another layer of harmony to be added by BakersfieldSounDiva, Theresa Spanke to Kim McAbee and Jerry Rothberg's harmony, and then a few tweaks in the mix.  Otherwise, the song will be officially released on 8/10/09 at the stroke of midnight (a midnight Dr BLT release custom).  On that day, be the first to secure a copy, thus, becoming the proud owner of the very first mp3 copy of Billie Jean (Country duet version) by hitting the "music" button and going to the CD, From Buck Owens Blvd. to Merle Haggard Drive.
