Brad Paisley's "Alcohol" or Dr. BLT's "The Bottle's Gettin' Bigger"?

As promised, if the bottle in the picture grew just one more time, I would release my new single, The Bottle's Gettin' Bigger, a song from my forthcoming CD about a pitiful drunk.  Well, as you can see, that time has arrived.  First, I'll let you hear the song, then you will get to take a new poll pitting me and my new song against Brad Paisley's Alcohol.  Do I actually think I stand a chance?  Well, if you go to the poll, at this moment, I'm winning by a comfortable margin, but I expect that margain to disapear.  Let's face it, I'm no Brad Pitt.  But I am a Kern County country rocker that enjoys positioning myself as the underdog.

And now that you've heard the song, assuming that you've also heard Brad Paisley's Alcohol, take this poll:

And now that you've heard my new song and taken the survey, I'm going to put you back in suspense mode as we here from Amanda on tonight's broadcast of Bakersfield and Beyond:

The buzz is going strong about tonight's broadcast of Bakersfield and Beyond.  Rather than try to describe it myself, I'll give you an update straight from Amanda, who joins Mike as the show's delightful diva.  Take it away Amanda!

Looking forward to tomorrow night’s (May 28) Bakersfield and Beyond show on KWMR! Buckaroo Bonet will join us in the KWMR studio for some live tunes (and we’ll play some great tunes as well). Of course we'll be chatting with Dr. BLT and discussing a new book on the Bakersfield Sound that releases later this month! 6:30 - 8:30 PM (Pacific time). Tune in at 90.5 fm or 89.9 fm in West Marin or stream from anywhere in the universe at
