When the Stone Rolled away from the Tomb: Dr BLT and the Rolling Scones

The Rolling Stones were, and still are, heavily influenced by country music, and the Bakersfield Sound in particular.  Here's a song that I tried to add to my record store today in an effort to make available another track from the No Sympathy: A Bittersweet Tribute to the Rolling Stones CD.

I want to thank Pat Frase who played the drums and Walter Stormont who played rhythm on this track.  Jerry, did you play anything on this song?  Either way, your extraordinary talent is present on so many of my songs, and I want to thank Jerry Rothberg, and all of the fellow members of the Rolling Scones who participated on this CD.

Technical difficulties prevented me from uploading the song onto the internet edition of the CD today, but here it is for your listening and reflection experience as we celebrate Easter Sunday.

If you want to download the song, check back at my website in a few days:

You may not want to share that last entry on your blog. It appears that I've mixed up my facts. I mixed up the Tomb song with "No Sympathy."

    Silly me!

I'll have to listen another time to see if I was on that song (...Tomb). I think I was there when you recorded it, but I wouldn't bet in that one either. How sad that brain capacity is limited and, or highly selective.
