One-year anniversary of closing of Buck Owens studios

Let's all use the approaching one-year anniversary of the closing of the historical Buck Owens studios (Fat Tracks, Pig Studio) by taking a pilgrimage to the old place.  If you can't make the trek literally like I plan to do within the next couple of weeks, take a virtual pilgrimage right here by sharing thoughts, memories and associations you've made about the place, and posting links to songs that were recorded here, like this one:

Here is a video that was filmed in that historic building. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpeSiw9Uc4Y Running the board with the very last 2inch tape that was left over, was Max Reese, and I even got to sit down and run the tape. It was amazing sitting down in front of that board, imagining all those who recorded there. Plus, since I only record digital, it was exciting learning about tape and the whole different way of recording. The man walking around taking photos is the amazing Ron Raffaelli, who was the one of the top photographers who resume includes Led Zeplin, The Doors, and his personal friend Jimmy Hendrix! The band performing is Stanley Jay Tucker with Calcaneous. The whole experience was amazing, and magical. The building brings out the best in all who experienced it.

Great tune! Nice take on a blues progression! I'd like to perform this live with my saxophone after my band, Blue Mirror, returns from our gig in Sacramento (Dr. BLT country) in early April, 2009).
