We Rocked the House Down at Russo's Books: Shattered Valentine CD Release Party

Pictured here with me are a couple of outstanding musicians and they are my good friends.  They are Walter Stormont, who plays percussion and adds his singular wit and levity to every show, and Jerry "the Saxman" Rothberg who tears it up with the sax and works the crowd into a feverish frenzy.  They both impressed me with their singing abilities as well on the title track to Shattered Valentine.

All in all, it was one heck of a show.  It will be followed up with a CD signing on Friday, February 13 at 6 pm at the very place where the magic went down on Saturday, Russo's Books at the Marketplace on Ming in Bakersfield, California.  The CD is Shattered Valentine.  Come on down and help me shatter a few records with this collection of 19 original songs and one cover tune.  Be there!  Don't shatter my heart!

It was a special night. The crowd and the management made us feel at home. Walter and Dr. BLT kept the audience from rushing the stage with their great humor. I can't believe that my rhythm guitar player and close friend from the 1960's, Peter Linn, read this blog, saw our photos, and recognized me! Dr. BLT has done it again!
