Billy Wants a Job for Christmas: Update
I got the call I had been waiting for yesterday. Brian Benson, who produced and contributed his hard-rockin' rhythm guitar and drum arrangement to the song called me on my iPhone and let me know he had mixed down Billy Wants a Job for Christmas.
So if you're one of the fans out there who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the song, it's here and it's been added to the CD, Ice and Snow. Billy, this one's for you! This one's for all the Billys out there! Our motto is, "Will work for the unemployed!" And we will continue to work to get this song out there, and raise awareness of all who have been directly impacted by the economic downturn this Christmas season.
Once again, the CD will be officially released at a CD release party, to be held at Russo's Books at the Marketplace on Ming Ave. in Bakersfield, California on Saturday, December 6 at 7 pm. Rumor has it Brian may even show up as a special guest. If that's the case, I think I should plan for more security officers to manage what I'm sure will rapidly become an unmanageable crowd.
