Charitable song Goin' Postal 4 Buck dismissed by Post Office as "Not conservative enough."

It was a cause without a rebel.  I wanted to use my music to raise money for the Buck Owens Resource Center that assists diabetics.  I was trying to get the U.S. Post office to sell a set of my songs, some specifically written and recorded for the Buck Owens post office re-naming/stamp releasing event today at the old post office off N. Chester in Oildale---songs like Love Letter with a Buck Stamp on It, and Goin' Postal 4 Buck, but before listening to the songs, a worker who reluctantly received the review copy and submitted it to your boss for what she believed would be rejection, told me, "They won't get behind it because of the title of the song---Goin' Postal 4 Buck.  She said, "I like it, and I think it's catchy, but they won't go for it.  They won't let you perform at the event and they won't partner with you to raise money for this charity."

So I guess I'll have to go solo and release the songs on my own to raise money for this cause.  This outcome wasn't too good for diabetics, but it was pretty darned good for my underground underdog credentials.
