Buck's Red, White and Blue Guitar song released with others "live" to benefit Buck Owens Wellness Center

On July 4th, 2008 from about 8 am to 10 pm, me and Hank Ray will be on the patio at Starbucks on Rosedale highway near Calloway, in Bakersfield, Californian, performing my own new, original song, Buck's Red, White and Blue Guitar  (featuring the deft guitar skills of local guitarist, Hank Ray), "live" (among 19 others on the CD) and signing autographed copies that will be sold for the benefit of Buck Owens Wellness Resource Center. 50% of all profits will be donated to this organization.

The other songs we will be performing, some of which are from the CD, include more original Dr BLTunes paying tribute to the United States and to the American heroes of country music.

The Buck Owens Wellness Resource Center (BOWRC), located on 1524 27th Street, Suite 101, at North Chester Ave., provides "expert cardiac, diabetic, and nutritional care by promoting education to improve quality of life."

We urge local radio stations to play the song, and to encourage folks to contribute to the cause.

Hope to see you there.  Have a fun and, above all, a safe July 4th weekend!

nothin' helps me celebrate

July the 4th as much

as Buck's red, white and blue guitar

nothin' helps me play my songs

with just that special touch

like Buck's red, white and blue guitar

I pledge allegiance to that guitar

and for the country

it stands for

I pledge allegiance

to the stripes and stars

on Buck's

red, white and blue guitar

let me have it for a season

let me hold it for a spell

just to know that

Buck Owens played it

makes every thing that's gone wrong

all turn out well

nothin' helps me celebrate July the 4th as much

as Buck's red, white and blue guitar
