Keepin' Up with the Jones: New George Jones tribute debuts at Art of the Mix

There's a reason Buck Owens picked George Jones to appear as one of the bronze statues he selected for his collection to be displayed permanently at Buck Owens Crystal Palace.  George Jones was a good friend of Buck's and they had an ineffable influence on one another.

As the song suggests: "Keeping up with the Jones ain't an easy thing to do."  Everything George touched turns to gold, including every soul exposed to his heart-felt songs of heartache and pain.

In addition to hearing Keeping Up with the Jones, you'll hear Three Chords and a Heartache.  Both are from my forthcoming CD, From Buck Owens Blvd. to Merle Haggard Drive.

Oh, I almost forgot, just when you thought I couldn't get more country, you'll discover a Dr BLT cover of an old Bee Gees classic at Art of the Mix too.  It's called I Started a Joke.

If you're an artist that's gone underground, you get to do lots of experiments.  I hope you enjoy these ones.
