Almost every day, weather permitting, I hold a HooteNOONee on the patio between Zingo's Cafe on Buck Owens Blvd. in Bakersfield, California, and a neighboring bar run by the same folks called The Boss. Now few ever show up for my HooteNOONee, so I take that lemon and make it into fresh lemonade in the form of brand new songs, like this one.
Zingo's is a redneck joint all the way. It doesn't get any more redneck than Zingo's. So is it any surprise that this song was born there? I gave birth to Git in Touch with yer Inner Redneck, at Zingo's on Thursday, June 5, 2005.
Now it's out of the bag, and fired up for you right here like beef on the barbie. It's only a sample, but it's a generous one.
